BIOGRAPHY

Graduate in Legal Translation and Interpreting (French, English and Spanish) at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, I still attend to my profession with the same enthusiasm and dedication that I had when I graduated in 2009.

My choice of vocation has always been reflected in the quality of my translations in the professional and academic realms.

While working towards my degree and thanks to excellent academic achievements, I have had the opportunity to do academic stays in two of the most prestigious schools of Translation in Europe -the École de Traduction et Interpretation of Geneva (ETI) and the Institut Supérieur d’Interprétariat et Traduction (ISIT) of Paris.

These academic stays abroad provided me an international overview of translation and attendance of weekly conferences on different issues in the UN, which allowed me to expand my knowledge of international relations. I first participated in the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) in Geneva in 2006.

Working as a freelance translator since 2009, I have provided my services as translator in English, French and Spanish to many companies and organizations such as the newspaper Current Concerns (Switzerland), the translation agency and SEO Web Ricaris Translations (Barcelona), the marketing B2B company Export Enterprises (Paris), among other private clients.

As a member of the Spanish Association of Translators and Interpreters (Asetrad) I believe a translator should never stop enhancing one’s education to provide quality work in a profession where we are constantly expanding our skills.
